This invitation only performance squad is exclusively for players selected by our Tennis Director and the Coaching Team. Players in this squad are preparing themselves for the transition from junior to adult tennis. How exciting!

These players have already shown strong technical foundations, a love for the game, and a genuine drive to grow. Being part of this squad means more than just playing tennis—it’s about embracing a mindset of excellence, teamwork, and personal accountability.

The Play to Compete Squad is for young athletes who are excited by the challenge of training hard, competing with heart, and representing Lovetennis in team matches, match plays, and, where possible, LTA tournaments.

These players thrive on purposeful training, understand that progress comes from consistency and effort, and take pride in being part of something bigger than themselves—a team that lifts each other up.

What We Expect From Our Squad Members:

Squad players are expected to uphold a shared commitment to excellence:

💪 Always give 100% in training and competition
🔥 Embrace hard work as the foundation of great performance
🤝 Show respect to teammates, coaches, and opponents
🧠 Understand that by pushing each other, everyone gets better
🎾 Commit to at least 2 LTA tournaments or match plays per term
📊 Aim to play 20+ matches over a 12-month period
🏅 Represent Lovetennis in team matches when selected
Being part of the squad means living these values on and off the court. Continued inclusion will be reviewed throughout the term, based on each player's effort, attitude, and participation.

Make-Up Lesson Policy:

We understand that schedules can change. If you miss a session, we’ll do our best to offer a make-up class—subject to availability.

✅ A maximum of 2 make-up sessions per term may be offered if possible
📧 Requests must be emailed to info@love-tennis.co.uk at least 48 hours in advance
🔁 Make-up sessions cannot be carried over to the next term or swapped for camp days or private lessons
🚫 Refunds cannot be issued for missed or unattended make-up sessions
Cancellation Policy
If we need to cancel a session due to poor weather or facility issues, we’ll notify players via email no later than 15 minutes before the lesson.
In these cases, we will do our best to offer a replacement session.

Important Booking Information:

✅ Please ensure you’re booking into the correct squad—changes, refunds, or credits cannot be guaranteed once your booking is confirmed.
⏰ Double-check the time and location of your session when enrolling.
❌ Refunds or credits will not be issued for non-attendance of any session or course.

Safety Reminder:

Players and parents should always assess court conditions before play. If you feel the surface is unsafe due to weather or other hazards, please use caution and do not play.
