Intermediate Adult Tennis – Course Description

These sessions are designed for players who are comfortable maintaining rallies from the back of the court in both singles and doubles. Players should feel confident enough to participate in organised club sessions at tennis clubs.

At this level, players can generally:

• Rally cross-court and with depth at a medium pace
• Begin to generate more pace and/or spin
• Feel increasingly comfortable approaching the net and volleying
• Hit consistent first and second serves
• Begin to place their serves with greater intention

Sessions will have an increasingly tactical focus, with drills designed to improve your overall game while keeping sessions active, enjoyable and engaging. 🎾

Please note: A minimum of 4 players is required for these sessions to run.

To support player development, regularity and continuity are important, so sessions are offered in blocks running over several weeks.

Booking Information:

Our booking system was originally designed with children in mind, so you may come across some terminology and instructions that are not specifically designed for adults.

When booking an adult class, please follow these steps:

1. Register an account.
2. The system will then ask you to add a "child" – you can enter your own details here, as this will be your player profile.
3. You will be asked to add two emergency contacts. One of these can be yourself.
4. Once your account is registered, you can proceed to book your chosen class.

Cancellation & Weather Policy:

In the event of adverse weather or facility issues, we will cancel a session no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time and notify all players by email.

⏰ It is your responsibility to ensure you are enrolled in the correct course and are aware of the session time and location.

💳 No refunds or credits can be issued for missed sessions or booking errors.

Players should always assess the court conditions before playing. If you feel the surface is unsafe due to weather or any other hazard, please use caution and do not play.
